The Jewel Ball

My community, La Jolla, commonly referred to as "The Jewel", has been incredibly enthusiastic and supportive of my art. I am beyond excited to announce that I will be featured at this year's Jewel Ball. The Las Patronas Jewel Ball is one of the oldest and most highly-respected social, cultural and philanthropic events in all of San Diego. Las Patronas has donated over $20 million to over a thousand charitable institutions in San Diego– reaching children and seniors, the homeless and the disabled, emergency response teams and the military, as well as supporting scientific research, health services, the environment, and cultural arts.

Every year since 1946, the ladies of Las Patronas completely transform the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club to make it an unforgettable night under the stars. In support of Las Patronas and the 72nd Jewel Ball, I will be painting a large-scale, coastal palette knife abstract during the event. Guests will be able to see my creative process unfold and place bids on the painting throughout the night.
