Beyond the Cove is a collection of palette knife oil paintings inspired by the breathtaking vista points of South La Jolla, from the iconic surf breaks of Windansea Beach to the serene bluffs of Bird Rock. Guided by nature’s own artistry, I translate the emotional energy of these landscapes through bold texture and radiant color. Each piece captures the distinct spirit of the coast: pastel skies drifting over Hermosa Park, the golden glow warming Calumet Park, and vibrant bougainvillea framing the Bird Rock shoreline.
