A thousand years of isolation created this part of the California coast. The viewpoint of this cool-toned painting captures the verdant mountains rising above the turquoise bank. The colors of the sea smooth out into the purple horizon and are abruptly cut off by the slight yellow glow of the sun. Down below are bright flowers greeting the coast.
