Chasing California II is a 12”x12” palette knife painting by Krista Schumacher.

Soft sunlight spills across the horizon in a wash of pale pinks, as if the day lingers in a gentle, endless blush. The sea shimmers with possibility, glowing quietly with that unmistakable California light. It’s a feeling of freedom—soft, windswept, and endlessly chasing the light.
